Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, make your way to the city of Prague, which is easily accessible via the D1 highway from various locations in Central Bohemia. Once in Prague, head towards the direction of Smíchov. Use GPS navigation to set the destination as 'Petřínské sady 242, 150 00 Praha 5-Smíchov'. There is limited street parking available near the observation deck, so plan to arrive early or consider using a paid parking facility nearby. Expect to pay around 40 CZK per hour for parking.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your location in Central Bohemia to the 'Praha Smíchov' train station. Trains run frequently, and the journey duration will vary based on your starting point but generally takes about 30-50 minutes. Upon arrival at 'Praha Smíchov', exit the station and walk towards the tram stop. Take tram number 12, 20, or 22 towards 'Petřín'. Get off at the 'Újezd' stop and follow the signs towards Petřín Hill, which is a short uphill walk to the Observation Deck.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Alternatively, if you're closer to a bus terminal, you can take a bus to the 'Anděl' station in Prague. Buses from various towns in Central Bohemia, such as Kladno or Mělník, regularly service this route. Once at 'Anděl', transfer to tram number 9 or 12 and head to 'Újezd'. From there, follow the path leading to Petřín Hill to reach the Observation Deck. Depending on your bus route, the total travel time may range from 40 minutes to over an hour.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of the Observation Deck, walking is a pleasant option. From the 'Újezd' tram stop, it's a scenic 15-20 minute walk uphill through the beautiful gardens of Petřín Park. Follow the path that leads straight up towards the Observation Deck, enjoying the lush greenery and views on your way.
