Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Český Krumlov bus station, exit the station and head south towards the intersection. Turn left onto the main road (Národní třída) and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large fountain at Náměstí Přemysla Otakara II, the main square in the city. From the fountain, head towards the southwest corner of the square, and you will see the Black Tower (Černá věž) directly in front of you, located at U Černé věže 70/2.

    If you are near the train station, take tram 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Náměstí Přemysla Otakara II'. From the tram stop, walk towards the fountain in the center of the square. The Black Tower is located on the southwest corner of the square, just a short walk from the fountain.

    From the local market at Krajinská street, head south towards the Vltava River. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Náměstí Přemysla Otakara II. The Black Tower is located on the southwest corner of the square, easily visible from any point in the square.
