Walking
Start at the Český Krumlov Castle, which is a central location and easily accessible. From the castle, head down the hill towards the Old Town. Once you reach the bottom, continue along the street until you reach the main square, Náměstí Svornosti. At the square, look for the signs directing you towards the riverbank. Follow the signs towards the Vltava River and walk along the river towards the east. After a short walk, you will come to a small park area called Parkán. Continue walking along the river, and keep an eye out for a sign pointing to Medvědí příkop. The entrance is located just past the park, nestled between trees, leading into a wooded area.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the bus station in Český Krumlov, take a local bus towards the direction of the center. Get off at the stop named 'Centrum'. From there, walk towards the Old Town, following the signs to the Český Krumlov Castle. Once you reach the castle, follow the walking directions provided above from the castle to Medvědí příkop. This is a short walk that should take about 10-15 minutes.
