Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Český Krumlov Castle, one of the main attractions in the city. Exit the castle grounds and head down the steps towards the main road, called Zámecká. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street called Široká. Turn left onto Široká Street. After a short walk, you will reach the end of Široká, where it meets the Vltava River. Here, turn left and walk along the riverbank. Follow the river until you see a sign for Vyhlídka na Český Krumlov. You will need to walk up a small hill, which is well-marked. The viewpoint is located at Parkán 121, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Český Krumlov and its beautiful castle.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Český Krumlov, take bus number 1 which heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop called 'Zámek' (Castle). After exiting the bus, follow the path leading to the castle entrance. Once you arrive at the castle, follow the same directions as mentioned above for walking. The scenic spot is not far from the castle, and the bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, start from the town center and head towards the Vltava River. Ride along the riverside path towards the castle. Once you reach the castle, park your bicycle at the designated bike parking area. Then, follow the walking instructions provided earlier, heading towards the viewpoint which is a short walk from the castle.
