Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Turnov. Head southeast on Masarykova street towards the main road (E442). Follow E442 for approximately 2 km. Look for signs to 'Hlavatice' and turn onto the road leading to the lookout point. There is a parking area near the lookout, where you can safely leave your car. The walk to the Rock lookout Hlavatice is about 500 meters from the parking area, and the path is well-marked.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Prague to Turnov (make sure to check the schedule as services may vary). Once in Turnov, head to the bus station, which is near the train station. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards 'Hruba Skala'. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Hlavatice. The bus ride takes around 20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs that lead to the Rock lookout Hlavatice, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity and prefer walking, from the center of Turnov, you can take a scenic route towards Hlavatice. Start at the main square and follow the walking trail that leads southeast towards Hruba Skala. This hike is approximately 4 km and will take about 1 hour. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way. Once you reach the lookout, you will have stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape.
