If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Turnov. Follow the signs towards Hrubá Skála. Drive along the road (I/35) heading southeast for about 3 kilometers. When you reach Hrubá Skála, look for signs directing you to Skalní město, which is located just off the main road. There is a parking area near the entrance, which may incur a small fee (approximately 50 CZK for a few hours).

By Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Prague or Liberec to Turnov. From Turnov train station, you can catch a local bus (line 400) heading towards Hrubá Skála. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Hrubá Skála stop. From there, follow the signs to Skalní město, which is about a 15-minute walk. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary by time of day.

Walking from Hrubá Skála
Once you arrive at the Hrubá Skála bus stop, take the marked trail that leads you directly to Skalní město. The path is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the rock formations. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven at times. The walk is approximately 1.2 kilometers and should take about 15-20 minutes.

For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Turnov and ride to Hrubá Skála. There are several rental shops available near the train station. The ride will take you through scenic landscapes, and you can follow the cycling paths that lead to Hrubá Skála.
