If you are driving, start from the center of Český Ráj (Bohemian Paradise). Use the main road (I/35) heading towards Turnov. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for the local road to Rovensko pod Troskami (Road 283). Continue on this road for about 7 km until you reach the village of Rovensko pod Troskami. Follow the local signs for Trosky Castle. There is a parking area near the castle where you can leave your car. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Trosky State Castle using public transport, first take a train or bus to Turnov. From Turnov, you can take a local bus (line 400) towards Rovensko pod Troskami. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Rovensko pod Troskami stop. From there, follow the signs to Trosky Castle, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited on weekends.
