Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Turnov, a central town in Český ráj. Take the road E65 towards Liberec. After about 10 kilometers, turn left onto the road 35 towards Rovensko pod Troskami. Continue on this road for another 10 kilometers until you reach Rovensko pod Troskami. Look for signs for Borek rocks, which will direct you to a smaller road leading to the site. There is a parking area near the rocks. Do note that parking may incur a fee, typically around CZK 50 for a few hours.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Prague or Liberec to Turnov. From Turnov, transfer to a local bus that goes to Rovensko pod Troskami. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Rovensko pod Troskami, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a taxi to the Borek rocks. Walking directions from the bus stop include heading east on the main road until you see signs for Borek rocks, then follow the marked path to the site. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Turnov or Rovensko pod Troskami to Borek rocks. This is particularly useful if you have luggage or wish to avoid walking. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around CZK 200-300 from Rovensko pod Troskami to the rocks. It's advisable to arrange for a taxi in advance or use a taxi-hailing app if available.
