Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Turnov. Head northeast on U Sklárny toward Čelakovského. Continue on this road for about 1.5 km. Take a slight left onto the road leading to Valdštejn Castle, following the signs. There is a parking area near the castle, and parking fees may apply, so keep some Czech Koruna ready.
Public Transportation
To reach Valdštejn Castle using public transportation, you can take a train from Prague to Turnov. Once in Turnov, exit the train station and walk to the bus stop located near the station. Take bus number 6 or 8 towards Valdštejn. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Valdštejn' stop, and you will find the castle within walking distance. If you are already in Turnov, you can walk to Valdštejn Castle. From the center of Turnov, head northeast on U Sklárny, and continue straight for about 2 km.
