Car
From the center of Český ráj, take the D10 highway towards Liberec. Exit at junction 37 towards Turnov and continue along the road. After approximately 12 km, follow signs for Frýdštejn, which will lead you to the village. Once in Frýdštejn, there will be signs directing you to the castle's parking area. Note that parking typically costs around 60 CZK.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a bus from Turnov to Frýdštejn. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for exact times. After arriving at the Frýdštejn bus stop, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the castle. Follow the signs leading towards the castle, which is situated on a hill with clear visibility from the village.
Walking
If you are already in Frýdštejn, simply walk towards the castle by following the marked paths, which are well-signposted. The walk from the village center to the castle takes approximately 15 minutes. Be prepared for some uphill walking, but the views are rewarding.
