Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jičín. Head southeast on the road 35. After approximately 6 kilometers, take the exit towards Brada-Rybníček. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the village. Follow the signs for Rumcajs cave (Rumcajsova jeskyně). You will find parking available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a small fee, usually around 50 CZK for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Rumcajs cave via public transportation, take a train or bus to Jičín. From Jičín, you can use bus line 600 (direction Brada-Rybníček) which will take you directly to the nearest stop. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off at the Brada-Rybníček stop, follow the signs towards Rumcajs cave, which is a short 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as it may vary on weekends.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Brada-Rybníček, you can walk to Rumcajs cave. Start from the center of the village and follow the marked hiking trails. The cave is located approximately 2 kilometers from the village center, and the walk takes about 30 minutes. The paths are well-maintained, and you will enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings as you make your way to the cave.
