Car
From the Eagle Mountains region, take the road towards Hradec Králové and head on the E442 highway towards the south. Continue on this highway until you reach the town of Česká Třebová. From there, follow the signs for the E35 highway heading towards Brno. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit for the E49 towards Jihlava. Continue on E49 until you reach the junction for the E55. Follow the E55, which will lead you towards the Šumava National Park area. Finally, take the exit towards the park, which is well-marked. Please note that parking may incur a fee depending on your destination within the park.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from the main bus station in Hradec Králové to the town of Železná Ruda, which is located near the Šumava National Park. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. From Železná Ruda, you can either walk to the nearby park entrance or take a local taxi for convenience. Make sure to check the current bus schedules online, as they can vary by season.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi or use ride-sharing services available in the region.
