Car
If you're driving, head towards Prague from the Eagle Mountains. The most common route is via the D11 highway. Follow the signs for Prague and merge onto the D1 highway towards Brno. Take exit 2B towards Praha 7 and continue following signs for the city center. Once in Prague, use GPS or a map to navigate to III. nádvoří 48/2, 119 01 Praha 1-Hradčany, where St. Vitus Cathedral is located within the Prague Castle complex. There is limited parking near the castle, and you may have to pay for parking (approximately CZK 40-60 per hour).
Public Transportation
For public transport, take a train or bus from a nearby town in the Eagle Mountains to Hradec Králové or Pardubice. From Hradec Králové, board a train to Prague Main Station (Praha Hlavní Nádraží). Once in Prague, you can either walk or take tram line 22 or 23 towards 'Pražský hrad' (Prague Castle). The tram stop is just a short walk from St. Vitus Cathedral. The train ticket costs around CZK 100-200, depending on the distance, and the tram fare is included in the public transport ticket (approximately CZK 40 for a short trip).
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Prague Castle, you can simply walk to St. Vitus Cathedral. The cathedral is located within the castle complex, accessible through the main entrance at the castle gates. Once inside the grounds, follow the signs pointing to St. Vitus Cathedral. The walking distance from the castle entrance to the cathedral is about 10 minutes.
