• Train

  To reach Kutna Hora from Hradec Králové, start by heading to the main train station in Hradec Králové, known as 'Hradec Králové hlavní nádraží.' From the city center, you can either walk or take a tram to the station. If walking, head towards the main square, then follow the signs to the train station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Kutna Hora. Trains to Kutna Hora typically run every hour. The journey will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Kutna Hora train station, exit the station and follow the signs to the town center, which is a short 15-minute walk.

• Bus

  Another option is to take a bus to Kutna Hora. From the city center, make your way to the main bus station, which is also close to the main square. You can walk there in about 10 minutes. At the bus station, check the schedule for buses heading to Kutna Hora. Buses typically depart every hour and the journey lasts approximately 1 hour. After arriving at the Kutna Hora bus station, you can walk to the center of the town, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Walking

  If you prefer to explore Hradec Králové first, you can spend some time in the town and then head to Kutna Hora. Although it is quite a distance, you can take a scenic route along the Elbe River or through the beautiful countryside. However, this would take several hours of walking and is not recommended unless you are an experienced hiker. It's better to use public transportation options mentioned above.
