Getting There

Bus
From Karlovy Vary, walk to the Karlovy Vary bus station (Autobusové nádraží) located at T. G. Masaryka 54. Take bus number 5 towards Loket. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Loket' stop, which is the last stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to Loket Castle located at Zámecká 67. Follow the signs towards the castle as you walk uphill.

Make your way to the Karlovy Vary train station (Hlavní nádraží) located at Národní 1. Take a train towards Cheb. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Loket' train station. From the station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Loket Castle. Exit the station, turn right, and follow the road uphill until you see the castle.
