Walking

Start from the center of Kutná Hora, near the Church of St. Barbara. Head east on Žižkova street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hrnčířská street. Turn right onto Hrnčířská and walk straight until you reach the main road, which is Route 38 (Kutná Hora-Malešov). Cross the road and follow the signs towards Malešov. After about 1.5 km, you will see signs for Hráz Velkého rybníka. Keep walking for another 1 km until you reach the entrance.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kutná Hora. Start from the main square and head east on Žižkova street. Continue straight until you reach Hrnčířská street and turn right. Follow Hrnčířská until you reach Route 38. Turn left onto Route 38 and cycle towards Malešov. After approximately 2.5 km, look for the signs for Hráz Velkého rybníka. It’s a pleasant ride with scenic views along the way.
Public Transport

From the Kutná Hora bus station, take a bus heading towards Malešov. The bus will take you close to Hráz Velkého rybníka. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Hráz Velkého rybníka or check the bus timetable for the exact stop. Once you get off, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the Hráz Velkého rybníka area.
