To reach the Diocesan Museum using public transport, find your way to any major train or bus station in Moravia, such as Brno main train station (Hlavní nádraží). From the station, you can take tram line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Malinovského náměstí' stop. From there, it’s a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to the museum. You can also take bus number 67 or 82 to 'Petrov', which is even closer. Be aware that you will need to purchase a ticket for public transport, which costs around 25 CZK for a single journey.
