Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in North Bohemia, head towards the D8 motorway. Follow the signs for Prague. After approximately 90 km, take the exit for the city center (Praha 1). Continue on the signs for Vyšehrad. You will arrive at V Pevnosti 159/5b, 128 00 Praha 2-Vyšehrad. Parking is available in nearby lots, but be aware that public parking may incur fees ranging from 30 CZK to 60 CZK per hour.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from any North Bohemia town to Prague's main train station (Hlavní nádraží). From there, switch to the metro line C (red line) towards Háje. Get off at the Vyšehrad station. Upon exiting the station, it's a short 10-minute walk to Vyšehrad. Follow the signs leading you to the fortress, specifically to V Pevnosti 159/5b, 128 00 Praha 2-Vyšehrad. Train tickets may cost around 100 CZK.
Bus
Another option is to take a bus from various locations in North Bohemia to Prague. Check for direct buses to the Florenc bus station in Prague. From Florenc, you can take the metro line C (red line) towards Háje and get off at Vyšehrad station. The fortress is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Bus tickets range from 70 CZK to 150 CZK depending on the distance.
Tram
If you're already in Prague, you can take tram number 18 from various points in the city directly to the Vyšehrad tram stop. This tram runs frequently, and the journey will take approximately 20 minutes. The tram stop is very close to Vyšehrad, and it will just be a short walk to V Pevnosti 159/5b, 128 00 Praha 2-Vyšehrad. A single tram ticket costs about 40 CZK.
