If you are driving from anywhere in North Bohemia, take the D8 motorway towards Prague. Follow the signs for Prague and stay on the D8 until you reach the exit for the city center (exit 1). Once you exit, follow the signs for 'Staré Město' (Old Town) and 'Malá Strana'. There are several parking options in the area, including underground parking garages, but be prepared to pay around 200 CZK for a few hours. After parking, walk towards the Vltava River, and you will see Charles Bridge (Karlův most) connecting Old Town and Lesser Town.

To reach Charles Bridge using public transportation, first take a regional train or bus to Prague's main train station (Praha hlavní nádraží). From there, take the Metro Line C (red line) towards Háje and get off at the 'Muzeum' station. Transfer to Line A (green line) and head towards Depo Hostivař. Get off at 'Malostranská' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Vltava River; Charles Bridge is a short 10-minute walk from there. Be aware that a single ticket costs around 32 CZK, and you must validate it before boarding.
