Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the famous Old Town Square, head southwest towards Karlova Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the Vltava River. Cross the Charles Bridge (Karlův most), which is a beautiful and historic bridge lined with statues. Once you reach the other side of the bridge, continue straight until you reach Křižovnické náměstí. The Charles IV statue is located in this square, prominently displayed.

Public Transport

If you are near a tram stop, you can take Tram Line 17 towards Nádraží Holešovice. Get off at the 'Malostranská' stop. From there, walk down the hill towards the Vltava River and you will see the Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, continue straight to Křižovnické náměstí where the Charles IV statue is located.

Walking

If you are near the National Theatre (Národní divadlo), walk east along Národní Street until you reach the Vltava River. Turn left and walk along the riverbank until you arrive at the Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Cross the bridge, and after reaching the opposite side, walk straight ahead to Křižovnické náměstí. The Charles IV statue will be in the square, easily visible.
