Getting There

• Public Transport - Tram

  Start at the main Olomouc tram station, Hlavní nádraží. Take Tram No. 1 (direction to Nová Ulice) and travel for 5 stops until you reach the 'Tržnice' stop. Here, transfer to Tram No. 4 (direction to Nové Sady) and continue for 4 stops. Get off at the 'ZOO' stop. From the tram stop, follow the signs towards Zoo Olomouc, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill. The zoo entrance is located at Darwinova 222/29, 779 00 Olomouc 9.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the Olomouc Main Square (Horní náměstí), walk to the nearby bus station (about a 5-minute walk). Take Bus No. 22 or Bus No. 23 (both heading towards 'Chomoutov') and travel to the 'ZOO Olomouc' stop. The zoo is located right next to the bus stop at Darwinova 222/29, 779 00 Olomouc 9. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start from the Olomouc city center at the main square (Horní náměstí). Head east on Žerotínova Street, then turn left onto Sokolská Street. Continue straight until you reach the crossing with the road leading towards the zoo. Follow the signs for 'Zoo Olomouc.' The walk is roughly 4.5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. It's a pleasant walk through the park and residential areas.
