Walking
If you are in the city center of Olomouc, start at the Holy Trinity Column, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, head north on the Masarykova street towards the main train station (Hlavní nádraží). Once you reach the train station, continue straight on Hlavní nádraží street until you reach the intersection with 17. listopadu street. Turn left onto 17. listopadu street. The Museum of Olomouc Fortress will be on your left side, at number 7. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes.

Public Transport
From the Olomouc city center, you can take tram number 1 or 4 from the tram stop 'Tržnice'. Ride the tram towards the direction of 'Hranice' or 'Nové Sady' respectively. Get off at the 'Hlavní nádraží' stop, which is just a few stops away. From there, continue walking straight on Hlavní nádraží street until you reach the intersection with 17. listopadu street. Turn left onto 17. listopadu street and the Museum of Olomouc Fortress will be located at number 7 on your left side. The total travel time, including walking and tram, will be around 30 minutes.
