Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at the main train station, Hlavní nádraží, located in the city center of Ostrava. From the station, take tram number 1 towards 'Poruba, Bělský Les'. Ride for 6 stops and get off at 'Karolina' tram stop. Here, you will find the Karolina shopping center. Exit the shopping center and walk towards the direction of the Ostravice River, heading east.

    Once you are at the Ostravice River, turn left and follow the riverbank path. Continue walking along the river for about 15–20 minutes until you reach the area known as 'Rovninské balvany'. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating the way to the Rovninské balvany, which are large stone formations that are easily visible from the path.

  • Public Transport

    Alternatively, from Hlavní nádraží, you can take bus number 37 towards 'Stará Bělá'. Get off at 'Mírové Náměstí' stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Mírové náměstí, then turn right onto Těšínská street. Continue straight until you reach the area of Rovninské balvany.
