Public Transport - Tram
If you're starting from Ostrava's main train station (Ostrava hl.n.), you can take tram line 1 towards 'Poruba, vozovna'. Get off at the stop 'Hlavní nádraží' and switch to line 2 towards 'Koperníkova'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Náměstí Republiky'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head west on Náměstí Republiky, then turn left onto Karolina. Continue onto 28. října, then turn right onto Kostelní nám. The church will be on your right.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Ostrava city center, you can catch bus number 33 from the 'Hlavní nádraží' bus stop. Ride for 5 stops and disembark at 'Mírové náměstí'. Once you exit the bus, turn left and walk along Mírové náměstí until you reach the intersection with Kostelní náměstí. Turn right onto Kostelní náměstí, and you will find Kostel svatého Václava at the end of the square.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of the city center, you can walk to Kostel svatého Václava. Begin at Masarykovo náměstí and head northeast towards Náměstí Republiky. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 28. října street. Turn right and walk straight until you reach Kostelní náměstí. The church is located at Kostelní nám. 3172, directly visible as you approach the square.
