Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Mikulov. Head southwest on Zámecká street towards Masarykova street. Continue onto the road 52 and follow the signs for Pavlov. After approximately 6 km, you will reach Pavlov. Once in the village, look for signs leading to Pavlovské vrchy. There is a parking area near the entrance to the hiking trails. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 50 CZK for a full day.
Public Transportation
To reach Pavlovské vrchy using public transportation, start at the Mikulov bus station. Take a bus to Pavlov, which usually departs every hour. The ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Pavlov, you can walk to the trails leading to Pavlovské vrchy, which are approximately 1 km from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the hiking trails. Ensure to check the local bus schedules for the latest information. A one-way ticket costs around 25 CZK.
Walking
If you are already in Pavlov and wish to walk to Pavlovské vrchy, head east from the center of the village. Follow the main road (Hlavní) until you reach a fork. Take the right path which leads into the hills. Look for marked hiking trails that will guide you to the peak. The hike is approximately 2 km and will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the trail can be steep and rocky.
