Over the centuries, Křivoklát Castle has undergone numerous transformations, from a royal seat to a formidable prison that housed notable figures such as alchemist Edward Kelley and even the future Emperor Charles IV during his childhood. The castle faced destruction by fire multiple times, but its charm remains undiminished.
