The palace, completed in 1911, houses a theater, concert hall, shops, restaurants, and bars, making it a central hub of cultural activity. The Lucerna Music Bar has a long history, dating back to the early 20th century when the Palace Lucerna was built. By 1909, the space was used as a theatre and later as a cabaret. In 1927, the Cabaret – Restaurant Lucerna opened, hosting famous Czech artists and jazz bands. After the palace was nationalized in 1948, the club functioned as a nightclub.
