Exploring the Historical Depths of the Ventilation Shaft at Folimanka Park Bunker

Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you're starting from Prague city center (e.g., Wenceslas Square), walk to the Můstek metro station. Take the Line A (Green Line) metro towards Depo Hostivař and get off at the Náměstí Míru station. After exiting the metro, take the stairs up to the street level and continue walking straight towards the large square. From Náměstí Míru, head southeast on Korunní Street until you reach the intersection with Riegrovy Sady. Turn left at Riegrovy Sady park and continue walking until you reach Folimanka Park. The Ventilation Shaft is located within Folimanka Park, in the northern section. Look for the large, distinctive ventilation structure.

• Walking

  If you are nearby, such as in the Vinohrady district, you can simply walk to Folimanka Park. Head towards Folimanka Street from your location, then follow the street until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, look for the Ventilation Shaft, which is a notable landmark within the park, often visible due to its unique architecture.

• Tram

  From any location in Prague, find the nearest tram stop. Take Tram 11, 13, or 16 towards the Karlovo Náměstí direction. Get off at the 'Vyšehrad' stop. From there, walk back along the tram route until you reach the Folimanka Park entrance. Once in the park, the Ventilation Shaft should be straightforward to locate.
