Public Transport - Tram
Start at any tram stop in the city center. If you are near the Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square), take tram line 22 in the direction of 'Nádraží Hostivař'. Stay on the tram for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Malostranská' stop. From there, walk towards the Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the Old Town Square. From the Old Town Square, head towards the Castle District (Hradčany) by following the signs. Continue walking uphill towards the Prague Castle complex. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see St. George's Basilica on your right as you enter the castle grounds.

If you are already near the Prague Castle area, you can walk directly to St. George's Basilica. Start from the Prague Castle main entrance, and head towards the first courtyard. After entering the castle grounds, follow the path to the right. Continue walking past the Old Royal Palace until you see St. George's Basilica on your left. The basilica's distinctive Romanesque architecture is hard to miss.
Public Transport - Metro and Tram
Begin your journey at any metro station and take the metro line A (green line) towards 'Nemocnice Motol'. Get off at 'Malostranská' station. From there, exit the metro station and catch tram line 22 from the nearby tram stop, heading towards 'Nádraží Hostivař'. Alight at 'Malostranská' tram stop, then follow the walking directions outlined before to reach St. George's Basilica.
