From the center of New Town (Národní třída), head northeast towards the Vltava River. Walk along Národní třída until you reach the intersection with Karolíny Světlé Street. Turn left onto Karolíny Světlé and continue straight until you reach the riverbank. Cross the Jiráskův most bridge to reach the Old Town area.

Take the metro from the nearest station in New Town, 'Muzeum' (line A or C). Travel one stop to 'Mustek' and transfer to line A (green line). From there, go one stop to 'Staroměstská'. Exit the station and follow the signs to Old Town Square, which is just a short walk away.
