    If you're in Nove Mesto, start by heading towards the nearest metro station, which is 'Muzeum' (Line A and Line C). From Muzeum, take Line A towards 'Depo Hostivař' and get off at 'Staroměstská' station. When you exit the station, follow the signs towards the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). Once you reach the square, you will see a large open area with the Astronomical Clock. From the square, head east towards 'Náměstí Republiky'. Prašná brána is located at 'Nám. Republiky 5'. It is a short walk of about 10 minutes.

  • Tram

    Another option is to use the tram system. Locate the nearest tram stop (look for 'Národní třída' or 'Václavské náměstí'). From there, you can catch tram number 3, 9, or 14 towards 'Bílá Hora' or 'Divoká Šárka'. Get off at 'Náměstí Republiky' stop. Prašná brána is just a few steps away from the tram stop at 'Nám. Republiky 5'. The tram ticket costs 40 CZK and is valid for 30 minutes.
