Getting There

  • Walking

    The Regional Museum is located at Horní 152, in the historic center of Český Krumlov. From Náměstí Svornosti (the main square), walk up Horní Street. The museum will be on your right, towards the end of the street. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that Horní Street is part of the pedestrian zone.

  • Public Transport

    The closest bus stop to the Regional Museum is Český Krumlov, Špičák, which is about a 15-minute walk to the museum. From the bus stop, walk towards the Budejovicka Gate and then into the historic center. Continue onto Horní Street, where the museum will be on your right. Bus tickets can be purchased directly from the driver. A single journey within Český Krumlov costs approximately 20 CZK.

  • Parking

    If driving, it's best to park in one of the designated parking lots outside the historic center as the center is largely pedestrianized. Parking lots P1, P2, and P3 are within a 10-15 minute walk to the museum. From any of these parking lots, walk towards the historic center and follow signs to Horní Street. Parking costs approximately 40-50 CZK per hour, with the first 40 minutes free. A daily parking ticket can be purchased for 280 CZK at the Infocentrum on Náměstí Svornosti.
