Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Český Krumlov Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down the hill towards the city center. As you exit, follow the signs that lead you towards the town square (náměstí Svornosti). Once you reach the square, the MUZEUM TORTURY is located at nám. Svornosti 1, just a short walk from the center of the square. Look for the building next to the fountain in the square.

    From the main bus station (Autobusové nádraží), exit the station and head towards the old town. Follow the signs directing you towards the city center. Walk along the street until you reach the intersection with the main road (Husova). Turn right onto Husova and continue straight until you reach náměstí Svornosti. The MUZEUM TORTURY is located at nám. Svornosti 1, right on the square.

    If you are near the Egon Schiele Art Centrum, head towards the Vltava river and follow the path along the riverbank. Cross the bridge when you reach it (the most popular one is the Lazebnický Bridge). Continue walking straight until you find yourself on náměstí Svornosti. The MUZEUM TORTURY is located at the northern edge of the square at nám. Svornosti 1.
