    From the town center of Nové Hrady, head towards the main road leading to Trhové Sviny. After about 1 km, look for the sign directing you to the waterfall and turn onto the unnamed road. The walk is approximately 5 km in total and will take around 1 to 1.5 hours. The path can be uneven, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus from České Budějovice to Nové Hrady. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once in Nové Hrady, you can either walk (about 5 km) to the waterfall by following the instructions for cars or take a local taxi to the waterfall. Expect to pay around CZK 200 for a taxi ride. A single bus fare from České Budějovice to Nové Hrady costs approximately CZK 50-80.

  • Car

    Head towards Nové Hrady. From the town center, take the road marked towards Trhové Sviny. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach a sign for Stropnický vodopád. Turn onto the unnamed road indicated on your GPS, which leads directly to the waterfall. There is limited parking available near the waterfall, so ensure you arrive early to secure a spot. Parking is not free.
