Getting there

Car

If you are driving, head towards Vyšší Brod. From České Budějovice, take the E55 road north towards Hněvkovice. Then exit onto the road 34 towards Vyšší Brod. Continue until you reach Vyšší Brod. Once in the town, follow signs for 'Devil's Wall' (Čertova Stěna). There is a parking area near the trailhead where you can leave your car. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Public Transportation

To reach Devil's Wall using public transportation, take a train from České Budějovice to Vyšší Brod. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vyšší Brod train station, exit and walk towards the main road. Look for bus services or follow the signs that lead to Devil's Wall. It is roughly a 30-minute walk from the train station to the trailhead.

If you arrive at Vyšší Brod by train or bus, you can walk to Devil's Wall. From the train station, head southeast on the main road until you reach a sign for Devil's Wall (Čertova Stěna). The path is well-marked and typically takes about 30 to 40 minutes of walking. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in places.
