Getting There

    The Muzeum Šumavy is located on Náměstí (Town Square) in Kašperské Hory, making it easily accessible on foot from most points in the town center. From the St. Margaret Church, walk down the gently sloping square towards the lower end. The museum is situated on the left-hand side. Parking is available in the town square for a fee of 20 CZK per hour, or 100 CZK for the full day. Free parking is available at Žižkovo Square, about 500m from the center, or on Sušická street, about 350m from the center.

    The nearest train station is in Sušice, approximately 17 km away. From there, take a bus to Kašperské Hory that will drop you off at the town square, a short walk from the museum. Bus tickets cost approximately 30-50 CZK.
