The museum is connected to Pilsen's Historical Underground, offering a chance to explore the city's extensive network of medieval passageways and cellars. A beer shop on site offers a variety of beers and related merchandise.The building itself has a rich history, surviving large-scale reconstructions of Pilsen in the 19th century and a planned demolition in the 1950s. It was saved by Jan Hejtmánek, who restored the medieval town walls to which the brewing house was connected.
