The Dolní brána is located in the heart of Domažlice, easily accessible on foot from the main square, Náměstí Míru. From the square, walk northeast. The gate is a short walk from most central locations. No costs are associated with this approach.

Domažlice has a train station located at Masarykova 131. From the train station, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to the Dolní brána. Alternatively, local buses connect the train station to the town center. A single bus fare costs around 20 CZK.

If driving, parking is available at náměstí Míru and Chodské náměstí, which are a short walk from the Dolní brána. Parking fees apply during the week (8:00 - 17:00) and Saturday mornings (8:00 - 13:00), costing 30 CZK for the first hour and 60 CZK for each subsequent hour in Zone A (náměstí Míru, Chodské náměstí). Parking is free outside of these hours.
