Getting There
Car
If you are traveling by car, you can take the D5 highway towards Plzeň. Once you reach Plzeň, follow the signs for 'Centrum' and then 'Techmania'. The address is U Planetária 2969/1, 301 00 Plzeň 3. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that you may need to pay for parking. Check for any parking fees in the area.
Public Transportation - Train
To reach Techmania by train, take a train to Plzeň hlavní nádraží (the main train station). From the station, you can either walk (approximately 25 minutes) or take a tram. If walking, exit the station and head southeast on Úzká street, then turn left on Nádražní street. Follow the signs towards the city center and Techmania. If taking a tram, catch tram number 1 or 2 from the main station, and get off at the 'Krajský úřad' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Techmania.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, check the bus schedules to Plzeň. Upon arrival at the Plzeň bus station, you can either walk or take public transport to Techmania. Walking takes about 30 minutes. To take public transport, you can catch tram number 1 from the nearby tram stop. Get off at 'Krajský úřad' and walk about 10 minutes to reach Techmania Science Center at U Planetária 2969/1.
