Getting There

Public Transport
From Rehoboth Beach, take the DART First State Route 208 bus towards the Indian River Campground. The bus departs hourly from the stop at Del Rt 1 @ Spring Lake Dr and arrives at Del Rt 1 @ Indian River Campground in approximately 12 minutes. From there, it's a short walk to various points within the park. A single ride costs $2, or you can purchase a daily pass for $4.

Driving
From Rehoboth Beach, head south on Coastal Highway (Route 1). Delaware Seashore State Park is approximately 5 miles south of Dewey Beach on Route 1. There are multiple entrances to the park along Route 1. Parking is free from October to April, but from May to September, a daily fee is charged. For non-residents, the daily fee is $10. An annual pass can be purchased for $70. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak season.
