Walking
If you're already in downtown Rehoboth Beach, the boardwalk is easily accessible on foot. Simply head east towards the ocean and you'll find numerous access points along Rehoboth Avenue and side streets. Walking the entire length of the boardwalk and back is a great way to experience all it has to offer.
Public Transport
The DART Beach Bus provides convenient and affordable transportation to Rehoboth Beach from various locations, including Lewes and the Rehoboth Park & Ride. Several routes stop near the boardwalk. A single ride costs $2, or you can purchase a daily pass for $4. The Jolly Trolley also offers shuttle service between Rehoboth and Dewey Beach, with frequent stops along the way.
Taxi/Ride-Sharing
Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Rehoboth Beach. A short trip from the outskirts of town to the boardwalk will typically cost between $8 and $15, depending on the distance and demand.
Parking
Parking in Rehoboth Beach can be challenging, especially during the peak season. Metered parking is available throughout the city, with rates of $4 per hour. Meters are in effect from May 15 to September 15, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can pay with quarters, credit card, or via the Parkmobile app. Parking permits are required in non-metered areas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the same period. Daily permits cost $25. Be aware that head-in parking is required. Several parking kiosks are located near the city entrances.
