Starting from the center of Bethany Beach, make your way to Garfield Parkway. Head east on Garfield Parkway towards the beach until you reach the intersection with Coastal Highway (Route 1). Cross Coastal Highway carefully at the designated crosswalk. Once across, follow the path along the beach towards the south. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the intersection with Hickman Plaza Road. Turn left onto Hickman Plaza Road and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. The Bethany Boathouse will be on your right at 39817 Hickman Plaza Rd.

If you have a bike, start at the Bethany Beach Bandstand. Head east on Garfield Parkway until you reach Coastal Highway (Route 1). Use the bike lane to cross Coastal Highway, then continue south on the bike lane along the beach road. Follow the road until it curves, and then turn left onto Hickman Plaza Road. Ride for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the Bethany Boathouse on your right at 39817 Hickman Plaza Rd.
