From the Bethany Beach Boardwalk, head west on Garfield Parkway. Continue straight until you reach Route 1 (Coastal Highway). Turn left and walk north along the sidewalk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Fred Hudson Road. Cross over to the other side of Route 1 and turn right onto Fred Hudson Road. Walk straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Cedar Neck Road. Turn left onto Cedar Neck Road and continue walking for another 1 mile. The entrance to James Farm Ecological Preserve will be on your right at 30048 Cedar Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Ride west on Garfield Parkway until you reach Route 1. Turn left and cycle north on the bike path along Route 1 for about 0.5 miles. When you reach Fred Hudson Road, turn right and ride straight for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Cedar Neck Road and continue biking for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to James Farm Ecological Preserve will be on your right at 30048 Cedar Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970.
Public Transportation
From the Bethany Beach area, you can catch the DART First State bus service. Board the Route 201 bus heading towards Rehoboth Beach at any of the bus stops along Route 1. Get off at the stop for Fred Hudson Road, and from there, walk west on Fred Hudson Road until you reach Cedar Neck Road. Turn left onto Cedar Neck Road and walk approximately 1 mile.
