From the entrance of Blackbird State Forest, head southeast on Blackbird Landing Road. Continue for about 2.5 miles until you reach Route 13. Turn left onto Route 13 North and follow it for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit toward I-95 North/Wilmington. Merge onto I-95 North and follow for about 10 miles. Take exit 7 for US-202 South toward Wilmington. After about 3 miles, take exit 1B for Delaware Avenue. Continue on Delaware Avenue, then turn left onto N Church St. The Hendrickson House Museum will be on your right at 606 N Church St, Wilmington, DE 19801.

From Blackbird State Forest, you will need to first take a taxi or ride-sharing service to the nearest public transportation hub, which is the Dover Transit Center. This should take around 30 minutes. From Dover Transit Center, take the DART First State bus route 104 toward Wilmington. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Get off at the stop on N Church St. Walk north for about 0.2 miles to reach the Hendrickson House Museum at 606 N Church St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
