    Car

    From Blackbird State Forest, take Blackbird Landing Road northwest. Continue on Blackbird Landing Road until you reach Route 1 (also known as the Coastal Highway). Merge onto Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North for approximately 10 miles until you reach the exit for Route 7 (which is marked towards Wilmington). Take Route 7 North and continue for about 5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Lookout Drive, turn left onto Lookout Drive. Rockford Tower will be on your left at Lookout Drive, Wilmington, DE 19806.

    Public Transportation

    From Blackbird State Forest, you will need to first arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the nearest bus station, which is located in Smyrna. Take a taxi to the Smyrna Transit Center. From there, take the DART First State bus route 401 towards Wilmington. The bus will take you directly to Wilmington where you will need to disembark at the nearest stop to Rockford Tower. From that point, you can either walk or take a short taxi/rideshare to Lookout Drive. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary.
