    From the main entrance of Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, head south on Refuge Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and continue for about 7 miles. After passing through the town of Smyrna, look for Big Oak Road on your right. Turn onto Big Oak Road, and Mount Joy Observatory will be on your left at 595 Big Oak Rd, Smyrna, DE 19977. This drive is approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
