Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto Coastal Highway (Route 1) from your current location in Delaware Beaches. Follow Route 1 south toward Rehoboth Beach for approximately 5 miles. As you approach Rehoboth Beach, look for signs indicating Deauville Beach. You will take the exit for Deauville Beach which is marked. After exiting, continue straight until you reach the beach access point. There is usually no parking fee, but be sure to check for any seasonal restrictions or parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the Delaware Beach Bus service, which operates along the Coastal Highway. Look for the bus stop nearest to you that has a sign for the Delaware Beach Bus. Board the bus heading toward Rehoboth Beach. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Deauville Beach, as there may not be a specific stop named after the beach. The fare is typically around $2-$3 per ride. Once you arrive, it is a short walk to the beach access point.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy biking, you can ride along the bike paths that run parallel to Coastal Highway. If you're starting from Rehoboth Beach, head north on the bike trail. Follow the signs for Deauville Beach until you reach the access point. There are bike racks available for secure parking. This option is free, but ensure you have a proper bike lock.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to Deauville Beach, consider walking. From Rehoboth Beach, head north along the boardwalk or the beach path until you reach Deauville Beach. This scenic route allows you to enjoy the ocean views and is approximately a 30-minute walk depending on your starting point. This option is completely free.
