From Fort Delaware State Park, exit the park and turn right onto Delaware City Rd. Continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and follow it for about 4 miles. Merge onto Route 1 South and continue for about 10 miles. Take the exit for Route 24 East towards Lewes. After about 3 miles, follow signs for Cape Henlopen State Park. The park entrance will be on your left at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. Note that there is a vehicle entrance fee for the park.
