If you're starting from the Lewes Historical Society, head south on Shipcarpenter Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. Turn left onto 2nd Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Savannah Road (Route 9). Cross over Savannah Road and continue straight onto New Road. Follow New Road for approximately 0.5 miles; you will see a sign for Pilot Point. Turn left onto Pilot Point Road, and you will arrive at 1 Pilot Point after a short walk.

From the Lewes Beach area, start by heading north on the bike path along Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue until you reach the intersection with New Road. Turn left onto New Road and bike for about 1 mile. You will see Pilot Point on your right. Turn into Pilot Point Road, and you'll arrive at your destination. This route offers a scenic ride through the area.

Head to the nearest DART bus stop on Savannah Road. Take the DART bus Route 204 towards Rehoboth Beach. Get off at the stop for New Road and Pilot Point (this stop is approximately 0.2 miles from Pilot Point). From there, walk down Pilot Point Road for about 5 minutes, and you will reach 1 Pilot Point.
