If you are starting from the center of Lewes, head east on Savannah Road towards the beach. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Beach Avenue. Continue walking straight for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Gills Neck Road. At this intersection, you will see the entrance to the Cape Henlopen State Park on your right. Continue straight on Beach Avenue until you reach the end where it meets the pier. Queen Anne Pier will be directly ahead, offering beautiful views of the water.

Starting from downtown Lewes, rent a bike from a local rental shop. Head east on Savannah Road and then turn left onto Beach Avenue. Cycling along Beach Avenue, enjoy the scenery as you ride towards the water. After approximately 0.8 miles, you will reach the intersection with Gills Neck Road. Continue straight until you reach the pier at the end of Beach Avenue. The bike ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.

Disembark at the nearest stop to the beach, which is typically at the intersection of Gills Neck Road and Beach Avenue. From there, it’s a simple walk east along Beach Avenue for about 0.2 miles until you arrive at Queen Anne Pier.
